Once upon a time, there was a small village. In the village, there was a well. The villagers used to drink water from the well, but they eventually stopped. According to local legend, a young girl had jumped into the well and died. People believed that her soul remained trapped there. It was said that anyone who drank the water would suffer in life, becoming sick and even insane.
One day, a group of friends arrived in the village to enjoy themselves and pass the time. The villagers warned them not to go near the well. However, the visitors ignored the villagers' advice.
After some time, one of the friends became very thirsty. Forgetting the warnings, he went to the well and drank the water.
After drinking from the well, he confidently assured his friends that there was nothing unusual about it. He even mocked the villagers, claiming that they were foolish for believing such stories.
Suddenly, a man passing by overheard their conversation. He came closer and advised them not to ignore the villagers' warnings. Once again, they refused to listen. Soon after, the boy who had drunk the water began to change. His friends noticed something strange about him, became frightened, and ran away, leaving him behind. They were too scared to even look at him.
Trying to protect themselves, the friends fled and took shelter in an old, broken house. Unfortunately, they did not know that the house was haunted.
That night, they stayed in the house and faced a terrifying experience. The situation was horrifying, leaving them shocked and frightened.
They prayed and waited anxiously for morning. Throughout the night, they heard strange sounds. Some sounded like the cries of a little baby, while others resembled eerie laughter. They also heard mysterious whispering noises, which made them even more terrified.
When morning finally arrived, they ran away from the haunted house. They prayed for safety, returned to their homes, and told everyone about their experience. Some people believed their story, while others did not.
Moral of the Story:
We should listen to the wisdom of our elders and pay attention when someone is telling the truth.
